Dream a Little Dream Book Cover Nails

Hello! This week's nails are inspired by Giovanna Fletcher's new book, Dream A Little Dream!

I'm a big fan of her books and I couldn't resist painting the beautiful cover onto my nails!

I was looking forward to Giovanna's latest novel as I'd really enjoyed her previous ones, and since she's revealed the cover and the synopsis I can't wait to read it! I'm always daydreaming and reality never seems to be as enticing as my dreams!

Sunset and silhouettes are among my favourite nail designs to do and I really enjoyed painting these! I allowed myself plenty of time so I didn't get stressed out thinking I needed to do something else!

I started with a base of Barry M's 'Block Orange' but it's pretty much covered in acrylic paint from the ombre background! I loved the nails with just the ombre effect, it was so pretty -especially with these colours! I also managed to get the design on my right hand by making my own nail stickers! I painted some nail polish onto a plastic bag and then left it to dry so it would peel off and did the design from there, so easy!

I was worried about getting the actual book cover nail on my ring finger to work as the book title is an integral part of the design but I'm quite happy with how it worked out! I did struggle a bit with the outline of the man and woman but as long as you don't look to closely I think they're ok! 

Overall I'm really happy with this design! I haven't painted book coves onto my nails in a long time and I forgot how much I enjoy it!
