Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay Book Cover Nails
Hello! It's been a little while since I've done some book cover nails and one of my favourite authors recently had a new book published, so here are my nails inspired by Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay by the brilliant Jill Mansell!
This cover was a bit more of a challenge to turn into a nail design but I'm quite happy with the outcome!
At the beginning of every year I always get excited as I know it means another Jill Mansell book will soon be out! I've spoken about my love of her books in previous posts here and here, and she is just the loveliest person! She's left several comments on this blog on my posts, even on ones unrelated to her books, and it's quite overwhelming to know that she's fan of my work! Thank you Jill! 😄
The base coat I used is OPI's 'I Believe in Manicures' from their Breakfast at Tiffany's collection so it is the perfect Tiffany's blue! I hand painted the design using acrylic paint!
I had intended to paint the title of the book on my ring finger, and I had started to but halfway through painting I realised I would never be able to fit the word 'Beachcomber' on that nail! If my thumb nail had a been a tiny bit longer it wouldn't have been such a squeeze at the end but I think I just about got away with it!
Thanks for reading!
Let me know what you think, hope you like them!
