Fair Isle Pattern Nails

Hello! This week my nails are inspired by another fabric pattern, this time a more Christmassy Fair Isle pattern!

I love detailed patterns like these so I couldn't wait to do these nails and I'm really happy with the outcome of them!

 I started off by searching for Fair Isle patterns on the internet and finding my favourites and thinking about what I thought I could easily paint on my nails. Next I practised drawing them out on a piece of paper so I had a reference for when I was painting as I find this is the best method for me.

The base coat is Barry M's Blue Moon but  mostly covered it up with other blue acrylic paints that I had mixed up! I knew I wanted to use different shades of blues in this design to create a Wintery/frosty feeling to them and I'm really happy with how effective these blues are! It might just be because blue is my favourite colour though!

Overall I'm really happy with how these turned out! I love painting intricate detailed patterns and blue is my favourite colour so I had a lot fun painting them and I hope you like them too!
